| Diag264 2021 Update
Hi all, I'm working on my bi-annual update to Diag264, which so far includes 5 or 6 additions or updates which are in flight, such as:
a) better reporting of which are the likely failed RAM chips in the RAM testing b) better reporting of TED latch failures in the joystick tests c) the TED mode tests now use proper interrupt driven raster splits d) simplified some of the code as I could not understand what I had written 8 years ago
Still to do: a) add checks for unexpected interrupts occuring b) specific checks to ensure banking logic is working c) checks for TED correctly selecting RAM or ROM via $FF3E and $FF3F registers d) reduce some of the timeouts on waiting for responses
Question to this community is if there is any other feature requests or annoyances out there that could be useful?

Perhaps a test if ROM banking works correctly. I have a defective PLA which causes ROM banking to fail (probably $FDDx chip select is not generated) resulting in BASIC and KERNAL ROM mapped in constantly.
edit: reading it again I'm pretty sure that You ment the same with b).

Exactly, testing the banking is part of the planned additions.

Btw Rob, I'm happy to see you actively involved in something, it means that your bad experience with Covid19 is definitely closed with no further consequences.

Ahh, Luca - I assume you must have seen the wife's post on FB?
I do not want to distract this thread from the topic, but in summary I have been hit quite hard by Sars-Covid-19 and was in hospital for several days. I am officially now a "long covid" patient and have been off work since the beginning of January and will be until at least February. Tiredness is a big problem, but even an hour or two a day to work on Diag264 updates is a welcome distraction.
