Commodore 16 - Microelectrónica y Control Game Covers

Hi there!

Here Arvo from Spain! This is my very first message in plus4world.

In first place, thanks so much to all the community for such a great website for the Commodore 16 and Plus/4 enthusiasts all over the world.

I just wanted to share some high-quality game covers from Microelectrónica y Control, an early official distributor of Commodore software in Spain. I have noticed that some of them are not included in the plus4world database (Sandcastles, Punchy and Zap).

You can find the images following the link:

I hope you like them! wink

I will continue sharing this kind of stuff in the future as I add more games to my collection.

Best Regards from Spain,
Arvo

Fantastic pictures, Arvo!
Having some straight pictures of the covers would result in easier editing to get some covers for our database, but we're going to do our best to achieve some acceptable covers'pictures to be included here wink

Hi Luca,

I'm glad you liked them! wink

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but some straight covers and back covers have been included into the album. They are ready to be cropped if needed.

If you want me to do it, please let me know!

Best,
Arvo

These covers have a really great style.
I especially like the Purple Turtles.
I do not know, if it as original art, or a copy (it resembles to some Rahan pictures), but has a really great style.

Re: Commodore 16 - Microelectrónica y Control Game Covers

Hi Luca,

Just some additional notes about "Zap (MEC)":

Original version: Xzap
Category: Game/Shoot'em up
Language: English
Size: 16K
Machine: PAL & NTSC
Code Type: Machine code

BTW Big thanks for your efforts editing the covers.

PS. I want to get all the TAP files from the original tapes released by MEC using the C2N datassette and the parallel cable XE154 through an IBM PS/1 in the near future. I'll keep you updated about it on this thread.

Greetings from Spain,
Arvo
