Copying files from Pi1541 to 1551

Obviously a simple question, but how can I copy a serie of files from Pi1541 to 1551 on a C16 (not 64k)? The manual speaks about a nice command 'Copy' for Dualdrive, but that seems not to be the same as Double drive. It does not work. There must be a nice utility for the C16 for doubledrive copying. Not block for block copy, but file by file. Does it exist, is it possible? The alternative is loading each seperate file and saving it on a disk at the second drive. If I remember well, that is the method we used in the early days, also for copyng programs on tape.

You can give CBM Command a try.

Try UNICOPY from the 1551 Test Demo disk, written by one Mr Jim Butterfield.

DirPlus is able to copy files between units from the new version onwards.

V3.0 knows this feature, but unfortunately C16 is not fully supported in this, and the copied file need to fit into the memory. V2.99 is the C16 version, but it does not have all the new features. V2.99 may worth a try.

I upgraded my C16 to 64K with MCes's C16 RAM expansion unit (memory under TED, no soldering, no trace cutting on the mobo). More RAM makes life much easier happy
