 Re: .D64 Files

Disk support (D64 files) in emulators are sometimes a problem. Some games run well, other don't. Rockstar Manager in particular works well with Minus4w. Here's what you need:

- The latest version of Minus4 (V2.5)
- The Rockstar Manager .D64 file.

Once you have those, just take these steps:

- Start Minus4
- Click File | Select .D64 Image
- Open the rockstar.d64 file. The disk image is now attached.

- You can either type DLOAD"ROCKSTAR MAN./+4" and press return (enter)

* or *

- press F3 (which is the directory command)
- stop it with RUN/STOP after the beginning (since the directory listing is long, and the program file you need to load would go out of the screen)
- the program file is the 4th entry in the directory listing, go up to that line with the cursor and press F2. This will write DLOAD in front of the file name.
- Press ESC then K, this will put the cursor to the end of the line.
- Press backspace three times to erase that "PRG" from the end. The current line your are in now now looks like what I mentioned above, so just press return (enter).

The second way looks really long, but actually if you get used to it in real life it's faster. But both will work. Once the program loaded, just RUN it as usual, and it will work.

Did this help? Any more questions? happy
