Tape file formats

As featured in the Plus4 Encyclopedia here at Plus4world, I read this interesting document explaining in detail the formats of the files and data used by C64 TAPE.

Then the question is: does all this is true for Plus4 too?

The (S)hort (M)edium and (L)ong numbers seem inaccurate to me, but the document notes that these values could have changed over time. I wouldn't worry about them.

The rest of the document, starting at Framing, appears to also apply to our machines.
