 Somebody complained about playing...

Somebody complained about playing a classic like Loco-coco with the keyboard only, giving to Luca the chance to release Loco-coco +3J [PAL/NTSC].

 Re: Somebody complained about playing...

good stuff. the intro by luca is kool to. It starts to be a C+4 cractro standard like.... ikari/talent or hotline back in the years on c64 wink

this project brings me to think about a game redux like nostalgia does on c64. games remakes like G'n'G or Commando or Donkey Kong is what I talk about. Do you guys think there's a space for this kind of releases on c+4? which games you think could be re-done in more arcade like style or re-done again to match the atari or c64 or zx quality?

Tha latest Gunfright release is also something that falls into this category.

Thank you for the kind words guys happy
Well, you know I use one cracktro for Plus/4 cracks and one for C16 cracks. The latter is the cracktro you've seen in this release, quite a common one after so many years of usage. Nonetheless, I optimized it at best right with this release, in order, and you know this too, to have a proper cracktro, which contains a crunched 16K game, and the whole pack still fits into ~14.5K, i.e. runnable on a Commodore 16.

I would take this opportunity to conjecture about my trainer stuff.
Of course I could do that for literally any of the classic C16 games, taking advantage of the massive collection of cheats we've put up on +4W in so many years, but I find that way quite useless; I use to put up a 16K trained game under particular circumstances or under certain requests, i.e. where it deserves to.

Redux versions FTW! Would be quite cool, although I see it would look better a redux of an originally good game, and a complete new version from scratch for failures like Ghosts'n Goblins. About me, I tried to understand the exact format of the single singers' files in Rockstar Manager, in order to change the parameters (which parameters the game uses?) and change the characters with current popstars. Unfortunately, that format is quite confusing, my first attempt's only success has been: seek which code rebuild the miniatures from a dingle file... :-/
