| The business, Computer Station, up for sale
Located at 2258 Pacific Ave. in Long Beach, California, Computer Station, a Commodore store and authorized repair station has served the needs of Commodorians since the 1980's. Computer Station has specialized in Commodore hardware and software, and Amiga, Apple II, and PC-DOS software. Now after more than 30 years, owner Tony Chai is retiring. The storefront will be closing its doors soon.
Tony is selling off the entire business to serious buyers who will come down and take everything away. See
http://blog.retro-link.com/2014/02/computer-station-taking-offers-for.html
and
http://blog.retro-link.com/2014/01/computer-station-closing-in-long-beach.html
for photos and more details.
Tony has listed the Commodore and Amiga service manuals he wishes to sell. You can see the list of manuals at
http://retro-link.com/smf/index.php?PHPSESSID=2m3egtikkc11khl2f4u1cqlpv4&topic=1248.msg3419#new
Disregard the list prices that are at the link. Tony is *deeply* discounting the manuals.
Tony has also listed the Commodore and Amiga chips he has on close-out. To see the list, go to

Sending him an email. I don't want the entire business, but see some Plus/4 stuff that might be of interest to fellow TED-ians.
Edit to add: Csabo, do you see what I see, on the top shelf to the right of all the LOGO cartridges? *big grin*

The lists of service manuals and chips were updated tonight.

To be totally honest, at $20 each, I cannot justify buying. Way back in 1985 or so, the same chips were available $8-15 each and that was new, where this seller could well be offering pulls from an otherwise dead system. And no warranty since he's selling out, where CBM offered a part warranty way back when.
Kinda makes me feel that he's trying to cash in while he can, since nobody seems to be offering close to his desired price on the entire shop.

I've seen his boxes of chips. While some of them may be pulls, a lot of them are new. You must remember that he was a Commodore service center back in the day.
Any other questions? Give him a phone call, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group http://videocam.net.au/fcug

Oh, by the way, the price he gave me for the shop makes it very tempting. Of course, where would I put all those scads of goods?!

Csabo: I don't recognize the white box to the left.
SVS: I have Payroll, but no idea where my XE-1541 cable is! I was looking at A/P, A/R, and Retail Industry.

George: I have a new-in-box LOGO here, if you're interested. Or I can ask the store seller what he would want for his, and add to my order once he confirms what he still has.

James: I am interested in both alternatives. Also in the ledger stuff and what else interesting software is left in the store. Depends on the price of course. Make me an offer for your box, if you want.

As you can see by the first photo at
http://blog.retro-link.com/2014/02/successful-january-sccan-and-fcug.html ,
SCCAN member Richard G. was the recipient of the NOS, still shrink-wrapped LOGO package for the Plus/4. He wanted it; he got it. Thanks to Tony Chai of Computer Station for donating it.
