  |   SuperPLA, PLA replacement chip
Well, as most of you know, a couple of my plus 4 machines have been out of action due to a faulty PLA chip, so one of the members on this board pointed me to www.c64upgra.de to get some of these babies. Took a few weeks to arrive, pluged them in today and they work great! Its good to see new technology bring our old classics back to life!

Sweet! I like the idea of these cooler running chips people have been burning also.

I agree to this resonable tuning of this machines. Its an improvement and does not change the functionality.

I'd love to know how much current this consumes compared to the original PLA?

The original consumes a around 100ma at idle, the superpla around 70ma.
