What emulator are you using?
I have a sidewinder and everthing runs sweet. Button "A" is fire...
With Yape goto settings and make sure these are ticked:
Joystick emulation
use PC joystick
Some games use port 1 or 2 and "Swap joystick port" is to change the port. eg.(have it ticked on for Bigmac)
With Minus4 for Windows goto Prefrences and have ticked:
Jotstick 2 Enabled
Again thats for Bigmac, many others will use joy1 and so on.
If your using XP there is no need to install your sidewinder software and will work from the word go.
If say your using Win98, install software as you would.... No need to make a config file and will work from the word go.
