Help in finding a song's name Months passed, and neither me not the author of the cover itself were able to remember the name of the original tune covered by Ern0 in the title screen of the arcade game Nautilus. This is an ultimate help request! Ern0 remembers it's a song interpreted by an Italian him-her duo, which have been played on radios for long time. Being the game itself dated 1988, this song must be dated <=1988. You can run this from HVTC and try giving a hint further or solve our doubt (title tune, key 4). Thanks in advance.
Re: Help in finding a song's name I tried to identify it myself and even listened through some old tapes. No success
My best advice: Ask in Italo Disco related forums, e. g. the German Italo Disco has a section for exactly that purpose Just provide an mp3 snippet, so ppl can listen to it without too much hassle.
Re: Help in finding a song's name What ever it is it needs cleaning up... High frequency bell like sound was used to stop the actual notes of the tune to allow spaces in between each note. You can't just turn the volume off or you lose everything so this trick is used... TED's highest sound frequency is silent, would of sounded better over all as the tunes are very cool regardless...
Re: Help in finding a song's name Luca: Thanks for the update. And why is ern0 mixing up Danish dudes with an Italian duet? That made me listen through lots of cool Italo-Disco tracks :P
Lavina: Dschinghis Khan is still 70s, 1979 to be more precise A better version here:

Btw, the third one from the right is Leslie Mandoki (László Mándoki) but his moustache can't beat the conductor's one
Re: Help in finding a song's name "Mézga Család" (in Italy: "La famiglia Mezil", transl. "The Mezils") was great, especially the 2nd series with Aladár's spacedimensional trips with the inflatable rocket.
Used to be on every Saturday morning in the UK, one from the USA again like most were. Could not wait for it to end just to hear that tune haha! Bit of a guilty pleasure... don't get caught playing it.
