His posts so far will work fine, since they only contain ASCII characters. YAPE cannot properly copy/paste shifted or reverse chars (yet).

I was thinking somewhat like ALT+xxxx from PC side. What is the translation rules between ASCII -> CBM applied by Yape?

I will dig up the code snippet once I get the chance to check the source. From what I recall by heart, I just used the one in the IEC emulation (drive) layer.

to SVS: To solve the problem completely we need to register all unmapped C= codes to Unicode. It's not easy. I've heard that it will require at least 3 years for these bureaurats at their consortium. However this problem is common for all retrocomputer: C64, Sinclair, Atari, ...
