Look at the buttons. It is C16 keyboard, like ESC key. Maybe someone built a C16 iinto a repainted C64-II house, because it looked more modern shape. Maybe there is also a 64KB extension inside, but well, I won't pay that money to find it out, what other mods it has

Aha! If you check it closer, you can see that black painted body is not by the manufacturer But the keyboard is really C16. I have one :D

BTW, if the 32KB ROM would be mapped above the 64KB RAM, then the continuous switching between ROM/RAM would be unnecessary (like in Spectrum 128K), and just this action would result several % speed increase. (maybe 20-30%) If the 96 would reflect to that (64+32), it would be already a great idea
Andras, you may give a hint, what else is different in thei C16?, than the body of the set?

I've checked my C16 and C64. And I think this is a black painted C64 body, with C16 keyboard layout. A C16 in C64 body. Some month ago I'm tried to paint my wrong C16 body to a different color and that is similar than this. But if there is more picutres about it, that could help to find out the differences...

Some interesting info about a self-developped stuff called C96:
http://www.jaruth.com/shrydar/c96/what.html
These specs seems to be more a vaporware, than a real set, stopped somewhere in 1996: http://www.jaruth.com/shrydar/c96/index.html
So probably it is something else...
