I found this archive from the 1980s and in it I find documented my own work in providing xmodem for the plus 4. The URL for the archive is http://cbmfiles.com/wgenie/geniefiles/Plus4/PLUS4.TXT.
Category 13, Topic 9 Message 1 Fri Mar 13, 1987 TIGLON.G [*SysOp*] at 02:03 EST --------- XMODEM +4 --------- By: Lt. Col. Mike Zuckerman Finally, an Xmodem terminal program for the Plus/4! Mike was kind enough to release this terminal program into the public domain through GEnie's *FlagShip* Commodore Roundtable, and did so in a form which would make it easy for others to append these files to other programs. As is, this is a very basic system, but with unlimited possibilities for inclusion in HiggyTerm for instance. You can find the 5 part program <plus the entire documenation file> in Library #28, but you must have Xmodem to download it. <This works if you have another machine to use!> The files are # 3596-3601. If you do not have the means to download this program, I will put it on a disk for you if you send me one...etc. See my address in the OLD CLUB BULLETINS, on Page 625, or drop a line via Email to TIGLON.G When you use another machine to download the files, you may have to strip the padding from the 4 ML files. You will find an auto-pad stripper for the 64 in the Library. Thanks to Michael Mantino for getting the program from Mike Zuckerman! Any problems can go directy to Mike at West Point, or we can hash them out here! Keep on Plus'ing! -<* Gayle
