Hello!
Could anyone tell me how to use the cheat codes? I already search in several threads for an answer but couldn't figure out yet what I'm doing wrong.
If I load the game and go into the monitor with F11+Tab, I enter exactly the codes showing on the game site (like Fingers Malone), for example "27CB 00". I even try it with "27CB:00" or "27 CB 00" or "27CB00" but I still get an "?" behind the codes. If I try to restart the game by "G 16A0" I get a CPU Jam (games crashes) immediately. What I'm doing wrong?

Hm...it seems to work without "?" with ">27CB 00" (left angle bracket) but the game still crashes after trying to restart with "G 16A0".

Enter the cheat code before running the game. I tried it with YAPE and it works. If you try to play it with YAPE and it starts automatically then load it with F8 instead of F7 or dragging and dropping. The other emulators also provide methods to load it without autostarting for sure. Read their documentations.

Thank you! I try to use the codes before starting the game now with my version on disk as well as the PRG-Version from here. The game will start now but the cheat codes don't work. I still have no unlimited lives or can choose the starting level. Did you already try the cheat functions?
Play help me if you can. Maybe the codes are wrong.

I just checked this file...
After loading it I entered tedmon
MONITOR return
>27CB 00 return
G16A0 return
This should give you unlimited lives and it does so. I f you get killed you still have 7 lives.
I checked the code to make sure. There's an SBC #$01 at that address which is turned into SBC #$00 by the cheat code (subtract 0 lives when dead). This makes sense and works fine.

Thank you again! That's strange but it works now at least with unlimited lives. The only difference I did before was a blank between "G 16A0" and entering M Shift+O instead "MONITOR" but that should be the reason. It also works with another code which I found on cheats.de (POKE 10187,0). So I will try the other codes now.

The LEVEL SELECT cheat works fine as well.
Just keep in mind that 00 is LEVEL 1, 01 is LEVEL 2 and so on.
Btw, it doesn't matter if you use the YAPE-MONITOR or TEDMON, works either way.
(Tested with YAPE 0.74)

The POKE is in fact the very same way of cheating.
10187 is just decimal what $27CB is hexadecimal.
You could POKE DEC("27CB"),0 to do the same 
PRINT HEX$(10187) will show you the hexadecimal form.
There should be NO difference between "M shift+O" and "MONITOR", same for "G 16A0" and "G16A0". It's all handled the same way. But glad that it worked for you now

Thank you, guys. Choosing level didn't work for me yet (black screen after starting game, tried with level 10) at least in combination with the other codes but the invulnerability alone works great. So I can finally view now the other levels of one of my favourite Plus/4 games ever...21 years later!!! :D
I will try the level skip code alone later then.

The level cheat didn't work for you because "10" is not a valid level number. Keep in mind, that the level numbers are hexdecimal values, too. So the code for the last level is "0E".

Thank you all!
I shouldn't wonder about the dissappointing end after a hard work to pass the last level because there isn't any.
The game just restart from Level 1...not even a congratulation text. Seems to be typical for Mastertronic games alhough this really was one of the coolest.

You could have known that before 
Many games have a short note about how the game end. For Fingers Malone it says:
"GameEndingType: Has an end, restarts (no reward)"
Memory was usually short (at least on the 16kb machines) but a short message could have been squeezed in, I'm sure. I don't know if the programmers didn't think about how rewarding a "Congrats" message or how disappointing just a restart is.
