Ok, this is was for the C64 and thus is a bit off topic. Still, it's a very entertaining read:

Reminds me of the old days when I tried to print in colors by using blue and red carbon paper with my SP180VC

Wow, that's geeky... I only have a C= plotter lying around but never bothered to fire it up, it might even work!

That 1520 (I think it's called that)? I remember thinking about buying one many years ago. Vobis sold those for 199DM. I'm happy, though, that I got the SP180VC instead (369DM back then, a fortune :D)
The other stuff here http://www.sentex.net/%7Emwandel/tech/index.html is nice, too.

I have a 1520 available, if anyone wants one. It's 120 volts, so you'll need a step-up transformer if you're outside of North America (as most of you are).
My 1520 is almost new. There's a little writing in the owner's manual (by the previous owner, not me), but the paper suppled with the printer is unused. It comes with an opened set of pens, but those pens are over 20 years old and are probably dried out.
I'll sell it reasonably cheap, because I know the postage will be ridiculously expensive.

I am still hoping to get these printing things emulated. I have plans to add them to my emulator but it may take many years.
