Hi,
If you order both of them, the special prize is 14 EUR or 20$ (very special) The mailing costs of the 2 dvds are ~7.5 USD, but you do not to pay 27.1 USD, just 20$, because it contains post and package costs.

uh, but 14 EUR is $16.70 USD.
if you offer a special price for both i'll probably pick them up, but that's a little much for burned DVD-Rs...

Don't buy this horseshit DVD. Nobody asked for our (me, Abaddon, Reed) permission for using our Boogie Factor -demo. Fuck off.

Dear Fairlight !
Thank you very much for writing to the forum ! Everybody who is on the DVD got an email to write subtitles for the demo. Because I did't find any of the author's email address, a found the homepage of your group (www.fairlight.to) I wrote an email (3 times) to BACCHUS/Fairlight to send subtitles for the demo or send it to Reed,Abaddon or You ! Because nobody answered me, and the c64 demos has no copyright I thought I could use your demo, JUST LIKE OTHERS DO !!! Once again, thank you for commenting the DVD.

Wrong. Nobody sent us email.
>Because I did't find any of the author's email address, a found the homepage of >your group (www.fairlight.to) >I wrote an email (3 times) to BACCHUS/Fairlight to send subtitles for the demo >or send it to Reed,Abaddon or You !
Did you remember to call our moms and dads aswell?
So when you got no email from non-author of the demo, you decided that c64-demos have no copyright? Great logic, man. For our information: all audiovisual works have copyright, except if the author decides otherwise. If something is freely spread, like our demo, it doesn't mean that it is freely sold. You must have author's permission for that.
>I thought I could use your demo, JUST LIKE OTHERS DO !!!
No. Others are not selling DVD's with our works included. Only Assembly party-organisation - apart from us, of course - have the right to use Boogie Factor in Assembly'05 DVD or alike.
And using comments from www.pouet.net as subtitles... no comment.

Dear Tempest / Fairlight,
Of course you are right, so because we will sell the DVD on 2006.03.16 we deleted the BOOGIE FACTOR from it. I recommended to you just see:
http://www.vesalia.de/e_digitalmemories.htm http://8bitcore.no-ip.info/8bitcore/shop.htm
for information about buyable C64 DVD's. The only difference is we have subtitles, but the others don't.
Otherwise, because the creators got some free copy of it and it has got lot of shipping and packing costs and the DVD itself too, and of course tax etc, the profit of the DVD (if I sell 50 pieces !!) is 8 euro (0.16 EUR/DVD)! So if you order one, you pay "only" the p&p and cost of the free copies for the original creators.
Well, it is not a big business! I mostly do it for fun and others enjoy it, too.

Got the DVD today.. It doesn't play well in standard players, most of the stuff doesn't work at all. It plays okay on my PC. Nice compilation, and even if some demos are not hi-quality-recorded, the DVD works nice as a trip to the past - well done Plays well as a music-DVD too, with no picture shown!

Hello Unlock!
I got your e-mail too, so...
I've got lots of orders, and nobody told me that his/her DVD Player does not play the DVD well. We tried it with 8 different stand alone DVD players and it worked well. The only problem is that some DVD Player (like LG,Panasonic) are seeking when finding ubtitles on it, so that's because I wrote the IMPORTANT message to the beginning of the DVD Show. The other thing: the whole DVD was 8.9 GB.We wanted to take that on a 4.7 GB single layer disc, so we shrinked it with DVD Shrink 3.2 (that's because of the MPEG quality is the 70% of the original, but on TV you do not see the difference) We burned it with NERO 6 ENT. EDITION, so if your DVD player does not play it, I do not know what is the problem...

Hi Lacoste
I've tried it on my noname player (where it actually worked best) as well as on my neighbors playstation 2 and also on his other dvd player. The playstation said something like "replaying stopped because of errors" within some demos. The other player just froze up. Maybe that's because of the subtitles, who knows.. Well, anyway, this doesn't make the DVD bad, so I'll enjoy it on my player!

Hi!
Please wait longer! On the LG Player it take 14 seconds to load the subtitle (seeking). So please be patient and wait! Please try to "PLAY ALL" menu, and then select the subtitle.

I don't know that you want to push against Ebay that hard, but if you do, put this notice in the listing when you relist the item.
----- Attention Ebay: I am the copyright holder of this DVD compilation, and have permission to distribute from the authors involved. -----
However, I suspect that someone specifically reported this to Ebay.

I think Ebay tell you if someone complained (if they did it through the VERO thing).
However, Ebay seem to have a particular problem about stuff listed as recordable DVDs, they seem to automatically assume that it's unauthorised. You might want to try James's suggestion.

Well, I think it's problematic due to the fact that you are using the Commodore brand and the chicken head logo. These are still copyrighted by Commodore Inc. People would tend to think it is an "official" or "licensed" product which is obviously not the case (or were you paying royalties after the DVD sales to them?)
