I'm not sure how to read Spectrum turbo bars but yes once the cassette player volume is set up to load games I then record that straight on to Sony mini disc and the games load fine from mini disc every time. Very easy to work with.
But yeah C16/Plus4 was not easy to make wav recordings from real tapes, the next game you try may not work or you need to readjust the volume to a new setting that stops other games loading. 
If there is any hope, I would try a game that uses Novaload. If you can get a Novaload game to work then the volume setting must be "very" close to normal Basic loading. At the same time you won't have to wait long if it's a 16k game.
