 Re: QUANTUMLINK IS BACK

Yeah, I also remember that the Q-Link boys started selling "Lifetime" memberships, at the last, for all us Commie users... for a good bit of change (in those days). Thereby generating the needed finances to start Aol, dumped Q-Link, dummed Commie users... never refunded a dime.

Seems like you've posted this already. Pretty much everyone who comes to the site checks the front page and the forum.

 Re: QUANTUMLINK IS BACK

You won't see me there. QuantumLink is for C64/128 and we have Plus/4s.

For those of you overseas, QuantumLink was the first major online service dedicated to Commodore 64 and 128 owners. They also had services for Tandy, Apple, etc under different names, but the software was dedicated to a particular computer system. The service grew up to become AOL.

 QUANTUMLINK IS BACK

In case you were not yet aware, thanks to Jim Brain, Quantumlink has been completely reverse engineered and is back online! We'd love it if you could post this on your site as it really is big news. The url for info is:

www.quantum-link.org

Users can connect with real hardware, or with the VICE emulator. Hope to see you all there.
