Thanks!
I sent a request to Worldwide Semiconductor, just to find out the price. (They had 58 of them in stock)... If it's not too expensive, then maybe I will buy one... But it's not that urgent. I have one fully working PAL machine and one fully working NTSC machine... and... this PAL machine with a dead CPU (and a little sensitive eprom chip)...

Or eventually, you could look here.
Usually these prices are in the range of that of gold... So you'd better off buying one working unit off E-bay and just cannibalize the processor from it.

Commodore did make some extra as spare parts, you might be able to get something from sites like http://www.worldwidesemicorp.com/ or http://www.usbid.com/, look for 7501 or 8501 manufactured by MOS or CSG. You'll probably have better luck looking for an 8501, as it's a lot more common than a 7501.

I doubt it would be possible to get either a MOS7501 or a MOS8501 from any shop out there...

| CPU?
Hi!
Is there any way of getting hold of a Plus/4 CPU - other than from another computer?
