LOD is Back is probably the first one that was designed for PAL (i.e. makes use of the extra speed) but also works perfectly on NTSC. Didn't Jim Hehl and the Thunderbirds crew put out some NTSC compatible demos?
Look at the demos list: here, there's a column that will tell you which demos run on PAL & NTSC. Unfortunately you can't sort or filter by this column, that would be cool, wouldn't it? Well maybe if someone asks me nicely. Obviously the BASIC demos will run, they usually don't mess with $FF07, and so will most of the 128 bytes demos. The list is not complete or 100% accurate, if you find any more demos that work on NTSC, either fix it up (if you have editing rights) or let me know.

I'm afraid there aren't any NTSC demos out there I'd be glad to be proven wrong. However... Our own Csabo's Lod is back demo is running nicely on any NTSC machine (albeit the music is a bit quicker but you can consider it as a feature ). IMO, that's been the first demo taking also NTSC into account.

I have downloaded some demos, but most of them are for PAL (the music sounds strange on NTSC etc.). Can you recommend any good NTSC demos?
