If your Plus 4 power supply is acting up, you can replace the square p.s. port on the Plus 4 with a round port, and thus you can hook up a heavy-duty C64 power supply to solve to your problems.

| Power Supply
Hello I have recently purchased a plus/4 and have started to notice that the original power supply is starting to play up.What tends to happen is when the computer is first switched on the cassette loader makes a funny humming sound for a while and then is disappears. The power supply itself, will not work properly if it's placed in it's normal posistion.I have to resort to turning it upside down for it to work or slightly tapping it at times.
It's really annoying as you'll be halfway through a game and then it will reset the plus/4 meaning you have to start the game again from scratch.Still I shouldn't moan-being as it's 20 years old now can't be bad.The screen images are loads of e's eeee going all over the place.Has anyone else had this problem??
Thanks,
Michael.
