Wanna make music for this, but HOW? The very first idea is to use TLC's frq converter for a 3voices tune...but I wish to compose something for TED! TLCPlay is quite hard to guide to the right way, hence? MusicMaster? Witthaker's Music Maker? We still need a powerful TEDmusic editor!

@Lando big thanks - this motivate me... and yes, i'll use your great idea ... at this moment, this game has the name:
1946 - ... hm (anybody an idea?)
@Csabo i could not code in machinecode, i would learn it, but for me, it is to ... crazy

BBSoftware, your basic is awesome! I take my hat off to you!
It also makes me cry! Will it really run fast enough? Your GFX are impressive!
The game should be called another name for legal reasons. Capcom may hunt you down and as you may know the game doesn't belong to Elite!
How about "1946" aka 1942 +4 hehe.

I'm saying this now, so you don't get disappointed later on: there is NO WAY you can move that many things (enemies, player, shots, etc.) at full frame rate with a basic program. It will be "jumpy", which is a big negative for an action game. Why not develop the whole thing in machine code from the start?

hm, if anybody can modify/optimize the basic code - you are welcome
I forgot to say: in game there is a variable calls TH which you can change between 1 or 2. 1 = normal shot 2 = super shot
The next steps: 1. Looping (i must convert the c64 gfx into c64) & powerups 2. enemies (i thought about DATA, also predefined controls for enemies with 4 or 5 different movements) - what do you think? 3. better memory mapping ($1000-$1500 Starcode in Basic / $2000-$2400 character code / $3000- ... the main code) 4. finally, a title screen 5. joystick support 6. music and sound support 7. finally, i hope, the compiling into machinecode 8. maybe, improvements and extras
