I've done this with an XA1541 cable. Zoomfloppy may work similarly.
CBMXFer frontend won't work.
With openCBM you need to format 40 track disks with the option -x.
cbmformat -px 8 DISKNAME,ID
Then you can copy the disk image.

Pets Rescue: 40-track .d64 to floppy via Zoomfloppy?

As I said before, I have a real Plus4 at my mother's house, and it has a 1541, a 1541-II and a monitor. I also have the Zoomfloppy device to make out disks. Unfortunately, they are not assembled.

When my mother and I get them assembled, I'd like to create more floppies for it and my C64C there. I want to make out a floppy of the Pets Rescue game, but some versions have 40 tracks. How do I make a disk out of that?
