Oprokom Mikromuz V4.2 is a really competent, and musically accurate BASIC extension.
Till now it lacked the English description, or simply I could noit find it.
It is worth to load it and test the demo songs included on the D64.
The programming of the notes easy, it does not have those plop sound the BASIC code generates, supports vibrato and different playback styles, like legato, staccato, spizzato
Cen generate loops that may significantly reduce the size of the code
The setting the default lenght of notes can also significantly compact it.

The syntax is based on the Microsoft BASICs used on PC, like GW-BASIC and MS-BASIC.
Unfortunalety I could not find a way yet to use the music player routine without having the character based GUI, showing the played notes and the title of the music. Strange, that the programmer did not think about this use, to support ready BASIC programs with some nice music (it can generate) otr to be used with your own gfx or message.
