if you have other interesting unique items for the 264, don't hesitate to show...
Maybe your joystick was used for the commodore LCD from spare parts There are some white DATAsettes which were also sold for the plus/4. I guess they used left spare parts at the end of commodores lifetime.

Okay, thank you for your insight. I was thinking it might be a prototype as well. It came with a lot of other parts and software, some of which are preliminary versions, alphas, betas, etc.

Hi Eric.. i did research many years on the 264 hardware. This seem to be patched together or its unique. Maybe a prototype. The only official joystick design for the 264 series i know off was the Commodore 1341 joystick. Since this here is white...it could be designed for other systems.

| Commodore 1311 style controller for the 16/116 or Plus/4?
I came across this controller and can't find anything on it. Does anyone have any information? It looks like the 1311 joystick, but has the round mini-din connector that might be for Plus/4 or similar systems.
