That is a great idea! Attendees could then say that they didn't know the Plus/4 was capable of that picture quality.

Thanks Robert for the quick response, and the dedication you continuously show to keep this small black guy known and living happy. (and it was not a critical comment, just a comment).

I plan to work on some slideshows that may need no restart after it finished it, but continuously load the same 10-12 spectacular ( happy ) pictures, may help to get attention on the Plussy without too much effort from your side.

How about a superhero slideshow? And I may create +4Man too, who will protect the 8bit World.
Will be blacker than Batman happy

OFF
VISA: yeah, once I got one for a 10 years period or so, but it ended, and I think such long VISA is not given any more.
(I made once a new product range saving action in South Carolina, Charleston. It was pretty hot and humid with almost no ozone protection.
I was invited by my taxi driver to taste an aligator stew, but at that time I was too young and was not brave enough...)

Oh, you need a visa to come to the USA? I am too accustomed to going to other countries with just my passport.

Actually, I was thinking of attaching my SD2IEC to it, but I couldn't find it in the 40+ cubic feet of Commodore stuff that I had in the station wagon. happy However, the museum attendees were quite happy to use the Plus/4 as is. Some of them said they did not know CBM produced the Plus/4, some said they had never seen one working (i.e., all the ones they had seen were broken), and some did not know about the Plus/4 built-in software. So, they tried out the word processor and spreadsheet.

Next year, I should try to devote more time to make it an exciting Plus/4 exhibit. happy

@MMS: Check the datasheet of 6551. It has external clock source pins. With the default external clock specified in the document it can go over a 100kb/s, I think.

Nice photos! Too bad it is so far from here, not to speak about VISA happy

(That poor Plus/4 looked so alone with no devices attached to it...)

Just one question: how the Swiftlink on C64 can reach 38400 baud, if it uses the same 6551 IC as Plus/4? As I know, Plus/4 is limited to lower speeds.
(theoretically, as no SW is able to use it at it's full potential)
