The two types are functionally equivalent, doesn't matter which is in the computer. They may differ in probable resilience only.

The 7501 was in the IC that was causing the problem The good IC was a 8501R1
So I need an 8501R1

Anyone know where i might buy a 7501r1 IC for my dead P/4's.
I has two P/4 and swapped IC's until I found the bad one. and it was this one.
