If a CMD is open, it is common to send a blank PRINT#x before CLOSEing the channel. This gives the output device a chance to output anything still remaining in its buffer.

I have *never* needed to send double PRINT#x commands.

After have deviated the output with CMD x (x is the logical output file), as you know, there is a fast method to reset the standard output: PRINT# x.
I have some fading remember that it was necessary to send a double command (PRINT# x: PRINT# x) to obtain the working output reset. Am I wrong?
