Yep, in fact, when I wrote this: "with a hopefully helpful link" above, that's exactly the link I added happy (Switch to IE to see it.)

That's an awesome idea! Quick, someone mention that to Gaia!

Wait a minute... wink

Re: TED Tunes In Your Browser!

We should actually port the SDL (command line) version of tedplay for this purpose, not the entire emulator. That has much better sound quality and lower HW requirements.

Re: TED Tunes In Your Browser!

It works under Win10 64bit/ Chrome and Opera, though it seems to require a stronger hw than my e4400.

Re: TED Tunes In Your Browser!

I added a NoScript message and a message for IE (with a hopefully helpful link).

Re: TED Tunes In Your Browser!

AFAIK the sound API Mike (or actually Emscripten) has used is exclusive to Chrome and Firefox.

Re: TED Tunes In Your Browser!

The port of YAPE loads in my browser (I can see the file load and play), but no sound on IE11/Win7 32 bit.

Works as expected in Chrome 46.

 TED Tunes In Your Browser!

You can now listen to TED tunes right in your browser, with the help of a JavaScript emulator! This entire section is still in flux, so things may break or be rough around the edges, but it's definitely a very promising start. Check it out now!

Well deserved credits go to Luca, for his tireless efforts of collecting the files, Gaia for his excellent emulator, MikeDX for working his magic to compile YAPE for the web and myself for some back-end work. Enjoy!
