 Re: External 64kb for c16

I seem to recall that I used a 64k RAM expansion in my C116 a few years ago (when I was testing the Krill loader's plus/4 port). I'll try to dig up my photos from that time.

 Re: External 64kb for c16

Going by a brand new one which never came with a case I see for sale in Germany once...
Your C16 maybe a Revision B or Rev.B, (printed on the motherboard above the CPU) which had a fix to support such memory cartridges/upgrades. C16's with Rev.A need some resistors/jumpers soldered to the motherboard to make some or all 64k cartridges work.

I would imagine your C116 would come under Rev.A being the first 264 model sold.

for the record though, I don't have a C116 or a 64k ram pack and are just saying from what I have seen in the past, this new one actually came with the resistors with instructions for fitting...

Hi all
I have external 64 kb module for c16. Its a small thing inserted to cartridge port. Works fine. But it doesn't work with c116. Is it normall? Why?
TIA
