Yes... *were* selling.
The BASIC extensions aren't a bad idea but I think it would have been better to just give the RAM disk a new device number and patch into the kernel. That way any program that could be configured to use a specific device for files could use the RAM drive and no extra BASIC commands would be needed.

Right as you wrote it JamesD. A minor correction would be that they not _are_ but _were_ selling it.

| Re: Super C-16 mit 128K
After doing some additional translating, it looks like they were talking about a previous 64K expansion and wanting to go to 256K but thinking it would be too expensive for readers. The article appears to go on to talk about a 128K upgrade instead of 256K. I believe they are selling the upgrade rather than showing how to build it from scratch and include the RAM drive extensions for BASIC to make it useful. It lists prices for upgrades on the 2nd page.
So the only thing relevant now would be the RAM drive *if* you can build a compatible 128K/256K upgrade. I'm guessing the RAM board pic I linked to was the 128K upgrade they sold. The switch probably returns the machine to 16K. So I think that solves the "Unknown" part of the "Unknown 128K Expansion".

Looks like the article is about additional BASIC commands for a RAM drive. It appears to be for a 128K or larger memory upgraded C16/C116 or Plus/4. I'm guessing the hardware was discussed in a previous article.
Perhaps this? http://plus4world.powweb.com/hardware/C16_Board_With_Unknown_128K_Expansion

C16 Chris, Thank you. As I do not speak German would it be possible to get some idea what the article is about?

IMHO it is about C+4 - it has 128K (64K RAM + 64K ROM) of memory.
