I talked to him on the Árok Party and he said that he has created an IEEE-488 interface for the plus/4 and wrote probably the first in the world fastloader for IEEE-488. Of course for plus/4.

Yesterday's topic in BSZ's blog was the super rare SFD1001. Lucky people capable of reading Hungarian can have a fine read here: http://hup.hu/node/128884 .

Wow! It is the time to add support for IEEE devices for the emulators. It is sad that so valuable information is only in Hungarian.

The next part of the project is up on the blog: http://hup.hu/node/121506. Everyone, have a good read.
The maestro was at it again: http://hup.hu/node/126046. A massive read, unfortunately in Hungarian only this time, too.

@ Hans:
-Kő kóla g---ci?!
Sorry I could not resist.
SO, proper translation: - Ágyba bújnál velem szépségem?
But it was never the first thing I mentioned to a woman I admired.
E.g. my wife (we've been together for the past 13 years + two kids) heard this first sentence from me: Hi, my name is XY you'll be Mrs. XY very soon. What's your name now?
Not kidding.
Back to the original topic, this piece of iron is unholy blasphemy I would say if I would not have known BSZ in person. If I would live for 200 years I could never do such a thing myself for sure. So I feel like the jurors of Giordano Bruno. :)
It's hard to find words to express my gratitude to all of you keeping alive the plussy with new sw and hw.
Piece.

Hi,
All the -very interesting, as to be seen from the photos, BTW- information remains to be "closed to restricted area" until the originator decides to share his thoughts with us in plain English...
So far, my knowlegde of Hungarian is limited to the phrase "Egészségedre".
Could anybody here translate for me, please:
"Would you like to go to bed with me?"
Thanking you in advance, Hans.

His other posts are also intriguing. Like the one where he investigates whether 5 IC's would have been enough for a C16 (and if not why exactly):

Wow! It is astonishing! I use 64HDD with C16 and old PC - this 64HDD is astonishing too. I want emulated dual 1541/1551 at CPU level (like 1541emu) for USB...

közdarabom - (Looking at the wiring diagram, I presume that it could mean a daughter board, or does that term stand for a socket?) - in word by word translation: middle piece but yeah this stands for a daughter board.
leccselést - I don't have any clue what this is meant to be - this is a hunglish (mixed hungarian english) expression for "latching" (if the spoken "latch" word would be hungarian it should be written as "leccs"
fejvakargatós - ???? - head scratching (means it caused some puzzled minutes for him while he could just scratch his head while thinking about the solution)

That's really impressing! To me, the final result is distinctive: one can identify the device as a Commodore immediately. And it's proper and professional work!
The Google translation from Hungarian into English, however, is painful. The German output is even worse.
Could somebody manually translate please:
közdarabom - (Looking at the wiring diagram, I presume that it could mean a daughter board, or does that term stand for a socket?)
leccselést - I don't have any clue what this is meant to be
fejvakargatós - ????
Regards, Hans.

| Retro Hardware Project: 1541 II/1551
Our unstoppable and extremely talented hardware guru BSZ did it again! As his latest project, he converted a standard Commodore 1541-II drive into a super dual drive, which also functions as a 1551 on the touch of a button. The hardware two drives have internally similar hardware, but there are plenty of differences, including clock speed, etc. He designed and added a new board into the remaining free space of the 1541 II, and - after a lot of grief and effort - it works! You can find the entire story with a lot of pictures on his project page (unfortunately on in Hungarian):
http://hup.hu/node/120659 Save me, Google Translate, you're my only hope!
