Yeah, the original release worked well with the old Apple style carriage return ($0D) as new line character. Using NotePad++ and saving your text in old style Mac text format still works with that one as a workaround.

Hi Gaia I had the Same Problem when working with different OS-Systems. Windows uses in Textfiles char(10)+char(13), Unix uses char(13) and Apple char(10) at the end of a line. Possible that i Mixed it up. Use the Notepad++ Editor , where You can Test These three variants. Notepad++ can save a Text file in this three Formats

George: thanks. That's quite odd it does work in the Debug build (where I have originally tested it), but not in the Release build (that you have problem with).
I will hunt down the bugger and make a nonofficial bugfix release available for you soon.
EDIT: there you have it -> link. It's a Win9x compatible build so download it only if you wish to use the LOAD from text file feature as it was meant to be.

Hi Gaia, Thanks for the /Load Parameter.
I tested a small file with two lines: 10 Print "HELLO" 20 Print "HELLO" RUN
The Result in YAPE is: 10 Print "HELLO"20 Print "HELLO"RUN
The should be sent a <Return> after each line in the Textfile, for loading Basic Code for example.
Greetings George

| YAPE 1.0.4
Yes, the most used emulator of the Commodore 264 machines needs a further tuning on several points. Gaia collected several improvements in the past months, also thank to all the users helping with their feedbacks, notes and requests. And finally, YAPE has reached version 1.0.4!
What will find into the new version? - /LOAD:filename to type text on startup from a text file - improved ("increased") oversampling - forward looking adaptive sound buffering - more accurate interim CPU read cycles - joystick setup crash fixed (64 bit build) - 192 kHz sound frequency got not saved in previous version - clear byte ready inaccuracy for 1551 fixed - minor IEC printer clocking fix - removed obsolete emulator ID
Run to the download page to get now your proper YAPE build (x32/x64).
