I have "Higgyterm" available for download on my website. This is a D64 image of the original Commodore diskette.
Higgyterm was released with the first production 1660 modems (tan box, marked for Plus/4 and 64), plus was distributed by Commodore Customer Service, Tri-Micro's Plus Exchange, and several user groups in the US and Canada. It does not have binary transfer options, but otherwise makes a very good terminal program.
Later 1660 modems (white box, for 128 and 64) did not include Higgyterm. They instead had a diskette for "QuantumLink", the company that grew up to become AOL.
