Re: C64 with gold color (coating?)

Make 5 pieces of Sr.Nr.1000000 C64s, and put it on ebay.de, ebay.com, vatera.hu parallelly. Anyone would expect they are the same set, while they would be just brothers .-)

OK, just joking, I would not invest any €cent into a C64. happy)
(as for that you need to buy some original ones also)

BTW, what OTHER color would fit to Plus/4 or C16, than the Black?
Or how would they look in high gloss black happy)

Well, it takes only 1-2 days to have some more golden painted.... We can create very good fake C64s for that price, even serialnumber can be printed...
Well, if it is the wish of the market happy)

The article does mention that only a few hundred were produced, the interesting part is the price for which it was sold: 2650 pounds (~4736 USD). It's crazy how much money they were willing to spend on it... but I guess I understand. Must have been a hardcore fan.

I'm sorry, I don't understand Hungarian.

Commodore Germany did produce some gold-colored 64s in honor of the 1 millionth 64 to be made there.
