Check the back cover and search for possible differences too.

@Luca:
How I've seen, you were incredibly fast once again! happy

Soon I could do, however, still a little better version of the cover...if you wanted?

 Re: Collisions in Phoenix

I own PHOENIX as an original cassette - in two different versions!

At least what concerns the cover (different screenshots) and the cassette label...

With opportunity I'll test once both cassettes, ok ?!

Huh, that's weird. Anyone else tried this?

I played it on YAPE 0.77, and my personal record is 48.

Hmm, for me, the KMS crack still doesn't work... The enemy shots go right through my ship, and I can't shoot them down either. I tried it on YAPE 0.76 and 0.77. Did you play it on the real thing or on an emulator?

I always liked the tune on the title screen happy

 Collisions in Phoenix

We got two versions of Phoenix, one cracked by Leader, another cracked by KMS. After several sessions of playing both, I'm quite persuaded: in the first one there is no collision between your bullets and the enemies, even changing the altitude. The second version, though a bit dirty (look at the game over chars), seems to work well: aliens usually end in pieces.
Do you have an original copy? Could you confirm this weird difference?
