| Wow nice 1
Great to hear you go it working
A little odd you wanted to add NOVALOAD to Video Meanies because it's a whole wav NOVALOAD turbo anyways. http://plus4world.com/mtaps-z.htm
To be honest 1/2 wav support needs a lot of looking into Multi loading 1/2 wav's are bad, thats why there is no Winter/Summer Events and the like on the site

| About Video Meanies...
...it was just for testing recorded .TAP's with YAPE (I've got the actual tape anyway)

| Oops...
Hm, indeed you are right, Yape a "bit" fails to reload the saved program somehow. What did you experience exactly?
The odd thing that I did test this feature (also with Novaload) when it had been implemented and it worked great. Maybe I accidentally inserted a bug later on
I hope to have a deeper look at it soon(ish), unfortunately I'm quite busy these days...

| Some details...
...when I save something in halfwave format (which I assume is the default) it works fine.
However, when I try saving something in wholewave format, it works until a split-second before it's due to finish loading, as if it doesn't save all the data to the .TAP file.
Also, when I try to convert these wholewave .TAP's to real tapes using Ptap, Ptap gives a "File size doesn't match header!" error message.
And Ptap only supports wholewave .TAP's (at the moment anyway).
Hope that helps

| UPDATE: C16/Plus4 tape query...
...Shortly after I had made that post here, I posted the same question on the Lemon64 board, where I got a reply from the author of Mtap and Ptap(http://arnold.c64.org/~minstrel), and he had just put up a new version of Ptap which supported C16 & Plus4 tapes
So I built myself an X1531 cable (the specs are at http://arnold.c64.org/~minstrel/x1531/index.html), hooked it up with the datasette, and successfully used Mtap to make a .TAP file of Pod.
I then used the new Ptap to record the pod.tap file to a blank tape, then successfully loaded the new copy on my real Plus4
However, there is one problem. On the YAPE site, there is a procedure to make .TAP's from .PRG's (shown at the top of this page: http://www.keepitretro.com/plus4/tipsntrix.htm). So I attempted to make a wholewave .TAP (Ptap doesn't support halfwave) out of videomeanies.prg using the Novaload turbo loader. Unfortunatly, not only did this .tap fail to load in YAPE (it works OK until a split-second at the end of the tape), Ptap also gave a "File size doesn't match Header!" error message when I tried to record it onto a blank tape. (Halfwave .tap's work in YAPE, but are useless for Ptap).
Perhaps this problem should be addressed in future versions of YAPE...
