This is pretty close to what I'd imagine would have happened if I'd gotten on.

I remember when the price dropped, I was about to get an Aquarius for Christmas, then the price bottomed out, and I got this - best thing that ever happened! I don't think I'd be in games if I'd gotten an Aquarius...

Luca, there's a problem with the file on rulez.org (which appears to be the same go_video file ripped from YouTube), it's a Flash Video file (.flv), not MPEG.

I just wond a Plus/4 on ebay that includes a video tape. Maybe it's the same one.

Lando's repost was appropriate, the original link in the previous post is no longer working (video removed by user). Does anyone know how to save YouTube videos? Someone (*cough* Luca *cough*) should back it up, so that we have it
The additional videotape definitely should be a very nice item to have. (As is any Plussy related material.)

COMB supposedly was selling the computer for $79. What it was originally supposed to cost. I think they were getting them straight from CBM too.
Too bad I didn't know how good the Plus 4 was or I'd probably have bought one then. I know I saw the COMB add but after the bad press I thought it was a piece of junk.

Hrmph, maybe I didn't watch enough television as a child. I don't remember seeing that commercial before. And what about the "optional" videotape???? That would be a nice thing to have, just for the rarity of it!
When Urban General went out of business, another liquidator bought up the Plus/4 inventory and sold it for $99... 1541 drives for $149.... 803 printers for $49.
