Cheats listed usually fall into one of two categories. If you see a "Restart game" line with a SYS or G command, then it's a "regular" cheat. In this case, you can stop the game (Run/Stop+Reset or Reset, usually listed), and POKE the cheats, then restart. These regular cheats will work anywhere: on a real computer or in an emulator.

Some games however cannot be succesfully restarted after a Run/Stop+Reset or Reset. (Example: Molecule Man). For these we still have cheat codes listed, but they can be only applied from an emulator. They will work at any point once the game is running.

Cheats

Out of curiousity, at what point in the game do you put the codes in for cheats? Ive tried doing ths, using Fire Ant as an example, but nothing actually happens?
