 Re: C64 demos sourcecodes!

I think that converting demos, tought lame, should be tasted as a "tradition" on the +4 scene... that would had to be the spirit...

 Re: C64 demos sourcecodes!

Well, actually I dont think converting is sped up a lot with the source.. on the contrary - in addition to converting you may also have to deal with different assembler directives etc..

That said - converting is really pointless. In most cases you do not have to understand anything about the program you are converting, especially when it comes to demos. It may have been interesting in the past when people just had one homecomputer, but nowadays you can just buy a C64 or download an emulator happy

 Re: C64 demos sourcecodes!

No hope for converting most of the effects, however converted demos are hmmm... not the same effort as anything written natively for c+4 happy

 C64 demos sourcecodes!

c64.ch site, the famous c64 demo collection site, enrich itself with a new feature: demosources from c64 demos. I guess it could be a good chance, who will try to conver some c00l c64 stuff to +4?
