 @carrion Oscar64 has been explicitly cited in the rules themselves:
 
 "...What you use to compile the machine code is up to you. You can use Austrospeed Compiter, TRSE, Oscar64 or even CC65, but really hardcore coders use an assembly compiler...

 Someone should, after all these years, reveal the secret to the organisers that there exist operating systems other than Windows. YAPE, with all its performance, convenience and accuracy, may not be the perfect solution for people running Linux or MacOS. plus4emu is an equally capable and accurate emulator and it can be deployed in native form to OSes other than Windows.
