 Re: Round connector?

I knew a guy whoes Plus4 power supply died and he couldn't get hold of another so he had the round C64 shape fitted and used a C64 power supply. Mod'ed rounds one could be about....

Sidius sounds good, maybe it was imported or slowly worked its way to Italy over the years. wink

 Re: Round connector?

Even if it works, it's not a good idea IMO to use the C64 supplier...
...but that you have to cook an egg over it >:0)

Yes, obvious. Unfortunately, something's broken inside, but not the TED.

 Re: Round connector?

You can use a C64 power adapter for that plus/4 with ease and no problems. I do that too.

 Re: Round connector?

Whether that is now an older machine, I do not know, but in Germany for example both devices were sold - with round plug, and with the angular...

Thus not necessarily somewhat special - at least for Germany ! wink

 Round connector?

I'd bought a +4 on italian eBay, the mainboard only was sold.
I got the stuff, but when I tried to connect a power supply to it, the connection revealed itself as round!
Early machine?
