Re: C116 finding A14/A15 on PCB

That would be helpfull! Thanks!

Already found an alternative, connected the wire to the PLA A15. Working fine, 64kb.

I don't think there is a VIA for A15, though I used the VIA below the PLA for A14.

Re: C116 finding A14/A15 on PCB

I know, on the C16 one could also just open the LittleSixteen V2 KiCad project, as it is 1:1 with an original board, and instantly get to know all the A14 and A15 points:

Unfortunately I have never worked on a C116 though, that's why I suggested a DIY method, it shouldn't take too long but I guess I'm wrong :/.

Re: C116 finding A14/A15 on PCB

@SukkoPera that is exactly what I have been doing. A lot of poking around, no results.

With the C16 this is easy, next to the modulator are contacts for A14/A15.

I am talking about the C116, not so easy.

Just use a multimeter in continuity mode, put one end on pin 21 of the CPU and poke around randomly with the other until it beeps. Repeat with pin 22 for A15.

Re: C116 finding A14/A15 on PCB

Sure. I don't want to solder direct on CPU, TED or PLA. I examined the traces on PCB. With little usable result.

A14 is I already found. Near the PLA there is a possibility to put a header pin in a empty hole, on the top side of the PCB.

I really like to find the same option for A15.

But I suppose there is experience with expanding C116 to 64kb. So my question: wich solutions are already found?

Re: C116 finding A14/A15 on PCB

Have you tried to check it on the C116 schematics? Or the CPU pinout?

 C116 finding A14/A15 on PCB

For expanding the C116 I am looking for A14/A15 on the PCB. On C16 no problem, on C116 any suggestion?
