Differences

The design!

And there are some differences in the internal software. For instance with the 1541-II you cannot load "Monty on the Run" on C64. Probably there are some hardware differences, but I don't know them.

Would you know if it will work on PC with your cable you made. Yet to try on PLUS4.

I'll have to suff and see what info I can find. I have no manual, but that's not a bother

1541-II

1541-II works fine on PC with the cable.
