  |   MORE Insode Commodore DOS
can be found at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/incdos/files/ . The person making the archives had to split them up in order to fit within Yahoo's allowed webspace.
This archive is for parts 12 through 20.

  |   Available at my site too!
I've put it up for temporary storage at http://212.181.21.139/bacon/Inside_Commodore_DOS/Inside_Commodore_DOS.pdf
The location will change soon as I give it a permanent home on my Commodore site at the same address.
Note: This is my personal server on my ADSL line, so don't expect lightning fast download speed (the maximum is 800kbit/s).

  |   Try RAR 3.x
It has a new compression method not known by 2.x

  |   AARGH
the files are RAR archives and my RAR archiver says they're blank!
  I've tried RAR 1.53/DOS, RAR2.50/DOS, and RAR2.60/Windows.
Would have been nice if the guy had used ZIP, ARJ, LZH, something a little more common...
10:04pm New York time Saturday evening...

  |   I forgot to state
that the book is in English. A similar book in German would be Data Becker's "Anatomy of the 1541 Disk Drive" (also published in the USA by Abacus Software).

  |   ** INSIDE COMMODORE DOS **
has been made available for download by Ken Moore of Pennsylvania, USA (christeve@adelphia.net). The book is available as several RAR archives from Yahoo Groups, or if you use Kazaa do a search for "incdos" or "commodore dos".
(Files were unavailable at 7:55pm New York time Saturday due to excessive downloads...)
[ Inside Commodore DOS was published in the mid-1980's as a complete documentation and ROM disassembly of the Commodore 1541 disk drive. The book has been unavailable from the publisher for over 10 years. ]
