Thanks for the hint! It is the right tool, and I see some guys already doing such action with that. In my approach only the charset + 240 colorbyte (20x12) needed to be saved and changed. The sequence of the chars are always the same, no need to save every time.
Anyhow not using the Plussy palette (brightness), how I may load then the fantastic conversion of Plus4Emu? As someone told beforehand: lazy lamer came into picture, haha!

If we would have a proper GFX-->Char converter Well, I have several similar tools for PC (internal usage, for game developing), I can code a specialized one for your need, when its time arrives.
At least I take out my small part of this megademo

| Re: plus4.com demo teamwork?
1 year ago I had some discussion on fluent 160 x 96 pixel animation standard (20x12 char to be more precise) via charsets. I mean a real standard including timing, delay between frames,, etc. It would look impressive. I think I saw similar demo effects in the past even in Plussy demos, but only with 3 colors globally, my approach will let one extra color per 8x8 char (like normal multicolor CHR mode). I dunno, if this effect already widely used in C64 demos or not. I've just recently seen an impressive full screen C64 animation, probably similar method used.
If we would have a proper GFX-->Char converter, the rotation of nice 3D objects (eg. mipmapped cars from NFS, raytraced objects) would be easy to convert and fast to program. (similar to IstvanV Plus4emu's GFX converter of Logo Editor 2.0, but with color conversion and bigger object, 160 x 96 io. 128 x 64 ) If no such tool exist, then some slicing and manual work needed on the colormap, but I may do that.

| Re: plus4.com demo teamwork?
demand and supply must meet.
All I can promise right now is one part for a megademo. Not an '5x5 char scroll and waving logo' type part, of course.
A decent, never seen on plus4 before effect part.

I hope you guys read and understood the request of rudis. He's expecting some real block busting work, not childish playing around.

| plus4.com demo teamwork?
just name me crazy or something like that, but what about a damn good plus4.com demo all have done a simple part of? ie someone make nice graphics, others can make awesome effects, and other glue things together to a real demo? should that be a goal for lets say this year? or maybe shorter? come on and let your machines glow...
dont know what part i could take.. let me know
but please no boring sine-scroller or something like that. let the machines sweat....
