 Re: OBLIDO

The game is a good choice. (I've mentioned it once already that it's my favourite game on Plus/4.) You can also control the game from the keyboard, scroll down on this page: Oblido.

Also remember that there's a bug in the game: you cannot complete level 4. (Even after you puch all the inhabitants to their places, the game does not "close" the blue house, it doesn't acknowledge that they are all in place.) By changing just one byte however, you can fix this. Here's how to do it in detail.

- In YAPE, press F11. This resets the machine.
- Type mO (that is, type M and then type SHIFT + O) and press Enter. (If that doesn't work, type MONITOR and press enter)
- Type >26F6 63 and press Enter.
- Type G 1068 and press Enter.

That's it. Have fun with Oblido, and let us know if there's anything else you need help with wink

 Re: OBLIDO

ARRGH I was hoping to make the first post of the New Year!

Anyway..... in your YAPE window, at the top, you have a Settings drop-down menu. Click that. Select Input Setup, then "Joystick Emulation via Keyboard". Select the option that is more logical for you, then click OK.

You may have to select next option on that menu, "Swap Joystick Port", becuase some programs use JOY 1 and others use JOY 2 for their joystick input.

Remember to save your settings (on the Settings drop-down menu) before you close YAPE.

 Re: OBLIDO

I am finally getting somewhere. I have managed to download the YAPE and it opens the game. I now need to get control using keyboard or mouse. My system is WINDOWS ME.
