Or better yet, try contacting Lacoste. He made a Gameboy Color conversion of the game, so he obviously already went through the whole process.

Your best bet is to download the original C16 game and apply the invulnerability cheat. (You can find it on the game's page.) This will let you observe all behaviours at your leisure.

Maybe it is time to learn 6502 assembly/machine code. It can't be too complicated since even a little piece of etched stone can understand it.

made an Amiga conversion of the game xzap. I used a YouTube video as a basis for the creation that shows the first 13 levels, but it would be nice if I could make the entire game from it. Can anyone help with the details of how the levels are arranged? All the types of enemies and in what order they appear? Unfortunately, I don't understand machine code to be able to figure it out.
