I tried to find some ".wad" files of non-aggressive, non-dark games to convert.
Actually there isn't such stuff on the net..
I think ".wads" could be converted "easily". And a lot of textures too, at least they would easily fit into memory.
So have fun and merry Christmas..
edit: Added a fullscreen version, too..

Very cool, thanks god the online emulator, the youtube video doesn't make it justice (is that english, I struggled to find translation). The distance to the horizon or whatever is short I guess.

Happy Holidays gerliczer... Raycasting is really a whole different subject.... It really does completely different things... It's actually a BSP renderer with textured polygons (vertical polygons only).... It's the technique that games used after raycasting (you most probably know that games name (The one with different floors, lava, howling monsters, moving sky clouds on the outside and so on..).... That was somehow missing in 8bit (at least for me).. Greetz!!!

| Happy holidays from the Puls4r staff!
Hi guys!
Kichy, 5tarbuck, Olaf and I have spent some time the last few weeks crafting a little Christmas present. I know it's a bit early, but if you like Freescape and textures and diagonal walls, this little one-filer might be worth a try....
Greetings to all plus/4 people around the globe.... Have a Merry Christmas and keep on rocking.
The world needs just exactly that from you!
Happy Holidays!!!
With some Whirlybirds.
