 Re: Star Castle

Drop Zone from Atari 800xl ect... would be nice too. wink

It's one game the Atari guys adore... and because it's better than the C64 version!
Take a look at Planet Search and the scrolling ground in Skyhawk on C16/Plus4 to get a very small idea if Drop Zone were to run on Plus/4. grin

Csabo: Yes, that's the video I saw, but thanks also for the link to the 'Williamson version' video. It looks good, if a bit less colourful.

Well, if any talented programmers were wondering what to do for their next game... happy

 Re: Star Castle

Its just a quick mockup, i just ripped the actual gameplay screen from Mame and converted and quick tuned on Plus4. A conversion is quite possible but i think the whole gfx needs to be remade..

A képet a Képfeltöltés.hu tárolja.

There is an Atari 2600 remake also:

You must mean this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ1afyYkMZA

It does look impressive. No, there is no C16/Plus version as of yet (and I haven't heard of anyone mentioning this game, or planning on doing a conversion). You're right that the C16/Plus4 could probably "do this".

 Star Castle

Is there a version of Star Castle on the C16/Plus4 machines? I just saw a YouTube video of an impressive version, a homebrew, for the Atari VCS, so I'm sure it mus be within the capabilities of the 264 range.
